Service Description
Application of Trauma Techniques (ATTs) is a 4-hour course limited to 13 students. The primary goal of this course is to educate the students about the most common traumas likely to be seen while conducting firearms shooting and training and how to handle them. Throughout the class students will learn about gear that they can carry and how to use it properly. Furthermore, there will be information about current medical options to treat gunshot wound and other firearm-related trauma. After a brief PowerPoint explaining the equipment and its usage; the course will turn into practical (hands-on) stations where students will conduct exercises themselves. Practical stations will be taught by EMTs, Paramedics, Military Medics/Corpsmen and fireman using real-world experience to develop the scenarios. The stations will include, but not be limited to: - Application of tourniquets on both arm and leg - Application of chest seals - Application of hemostatic agents - Application of Nasopharyngeal airways - Application of needle decompression - Scenario based situations using equipment available Equipment Requirements: Equipment required to conduct course will be provided Students should bring pen and paper for note taking Use of fake blood may get on clothing, adjust accordingly Recommended that students bring their own medical equipment for evaluation Similar equipment used will likely be available for purchase

Policy Description: Registration & Payment: All course fees must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your slot. Cancellation & Rescheduling: More than 72 hours notice: You may reschedule to a future date or receive a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee. 24 to 72 hours notice: No refunds. However, you may reschedule to a future course date one time for a $25 rescheduling fee. Less than 24 hours / No-Show: All fees are forfeited. No reschedules or refunds will be issued for no-shows. Instructor Rights: Phoenix Security Group reserves the right to remove any individual from the range or classroom who exhibits unsafe behavior or fails to follow instructor commands. In such cases, no refund will be issued. Weather Policy: Training occurs rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather that poses a safety risk, PSG will notify you 4 hours prior to the start time to reschedule.
